Q3 2025 Performance of Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Sweden

In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Sweden showed varied performance trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps Go experienced a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating slightly, peaking at around 7.5K. Its revenue remained minimal, with occasional increases, reaching up to $8 in certain weeks. The app's active user base began at approximately 3.8M and saw a gradual decline to about 3.4M by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained steady weekly downloads, starting at 4.7K and peaking at 6.4K early in the quarter. Active users showed a downward trend, starting at 104K and decreasing to 60.6K by the end.

My map from Lantmäteriet saw downloads ranging from 3.6K to 4.5K, with a noticeable decline towards the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at 54.5K before declining to 36.3K.

Google Earth had varying download numbers, starting at 4.1K and witnessing a slight increase to 4K by the quarter's end. Active users showed a peak of 71K mid-quarter before decreasing to 41.1K.

Satellite View - Maps - Radar experienced a significant increase in downloads, starting at 486 and reaching 2.8K. Revenue showed a gradual increase, peaking at $189, while active users climbed from 1.7K to 4.4K.
